Meet the Team

Jeff Godchaux is from Lafayette, Louisiana, and resides there with his wife, Tonya. Lafayette holds a special place in Jeff’s heart because it is where Jeff and Tonya raise their four children, so deciding where to open his own practice and continuing his career was not a difficult decision to make.  

Jeff enjoys taking advantage of the nature Cajun country has to offer by being an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He and his family love escaping to the family hunting camp when they are not busy enjoying sporting events and family activities. Jeff is an active member of his church community, serving on the Finance Council as well as teaming and leading retreats.  

Jeff proudly served his country in the Army National Guard from 1994 to 2001 and graduated with honors from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 1999. 

Jeff is an experienced financial manager and has been in the financial services industry for 20 years, assisting a wide variety of clientele. Jeff is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist® and is trained in managing wealth for individual clients. His objective is to put his clients first and to help them reach their individual goals.
